Remaking Masaki Kobayashi's Hari Kiri must be the worst offence...... how can you improve it??

They are doing a remake of "Total Recall" with...Colin Farrel as Arnie's Doug Quaid, Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale. Momoa somehow fits in my image of Conan, he is huge and wild and pretty massive, so he can fill Arnie's shoes (well, I admit I like Jason Momoa since Stargate,but he is really good as a barbarian, both there and in "Game of Thrones" as Khal Drogo). Colin, on the other hand, is excellent actor, one of my favorite, but I can't simply compare him with Arnold.

Another total miss: NHK's taiga drama remake of Musashi (1954-1956): complete waste of money, time and pampered actors and actresses...

The #1 most needless remake was, of course, Starship Troopers 2, and then they actually made Starship Troopers 3.
