Paulie making pasta and Pacino shooting the cop at the Italian Restaurant in The Godfather. Monte Pythons exploding fat guy in The Life of Brian. Jesus the Last Supper in the Redemption of Christ. For those who do want to see foodie movies in addition to the above mentioned: Babette's Feast, Ratatouille, Eat Drink Men Women, and Vatel. As far as chefs go, I always side with Tony Bourdain; he likes the expected set (listed above) including Big Night and Tampopo.

Who could forget the feast scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? I've always suspected that giant cockroaches would taste like lobster...
