It would have been nice if the article touched on why 'Shanghai' is not actually being filmed in Shanghai.

LOLOL. I'll bet the script contained some serious infractions, such as suggesting that the United States had anything to do with defeating the Japanese in China, or that Japanese were possibly individual human beings and not all "devils".
