    Went to see this with my niece and nephew. The male lead was a little weak and the writing was very linear and expected. You can see ever twist that will be made in the movie coming within the first 10 minutes. That said...

    The visuals were amazing, CGI was used well, and the supporting roles (the flying monkey, China Girl, the tinkers, Glinda, and the witch of the east, really made up for the lack luster protagonist. Great movie for kids that won't have you squirming in your seat to leave.
