Now we have the Gov't trying to control TV too? What's next? The type of cereal I eat in the morning?

God forbid you show a human body. Take your shower with your clothes on you twits.

A bare breast on TV. Now does anyone seriously dispute that the world will end in 2012?

All this concern about children and decency from certain people with severe myopia:
No nudity, unless its the bare chests of professional wrestlers as they pound on eachother and swear to rain violence down on their opponents.
No bad words, unless of course its Saving Private Ryan or some other movie glorifying war (while sometimes decrying it...a little bit).
But a woman's bare butt on TV? That could lead to impure thoughts!
America's priorities have been right on target if the goal was to produce the most violent and pro-war first world society on the planet. I should think they have succeeded brilliantly, which is just another reason why I no longer live there.

One needs to be in a certain state of mind or from a particular background to be shocked by nudity or foul language. But then it also depends on how or in what context it is presented. Cable TV or broadcast, censorship is not the way to go in a 'democratic' state. But some code of conduct broadcasters and producers should adhere to might be an option.
The first time I saw a nude female on TV was in 1967. It happened just before the station signed off. Perhaps it was just a provocative deed: see what the reactions would be. I wasn't impressed, shocked or anything. It was kind of sterile.
