... and so? I mean who really cares where a food originates from? I've heard some people argue passionately that X food is originally from their country so theirs is best. Umm... not always, the new version is often better than the original, and if you're a real foodie and have traveled a lot then you'll know that even within the country of origin there are HUGE differences in flavor for a single dish depending on the region and the chef. Try eating curry in North India and curry in South India and you'll be shocked at how different the flavors are. Then go to England and discover an entirely different flavor. Which one is "correct"? Who cares, the only real question is which one you like best.
