This is lovely, except a HUGE number of movies are NOT available from Japan. And in addition to that, not all movies are subtitled, meaning that those that are NOT subtitled are dubbed with no other option.

Most of the animation is dubbed, not subtitled so a large number of Japanese people complain (and I agree) that it ruins the movie. They much prefer the original voices (eg. Tom Hanks as Woody) and subtitles to dubbing.

I fully agree, why is this kind of paffle given priority and PR power before they even make alternate language and subtitle tracks available? Foreign movies on iTunes are a joke--whichever country you are from.

Note that this is a story form AP, so it had nothing to do with iTunes in Japan. In addition to movies, Sony Music still is keeping most of its catalog out of iTunes in Japan. They are hell bent on running their own store.
