HIROSHIMA —
All Nippon Airways Co said Monday it has launched a nighttime cargo delivery service to five areas in Asia from Hiroshima Airport via Tokyo’s Haneda and Okinawa’s Naha airports. The new service shortens the air cargo delivery time from Hiroshima by around half a day compared with trucking cargo to Kansai International Airport near Osaka, according to ANA.
The service is part of ANA’s ‘‘Okinawa cargo hub’’ service launched last October linking Japan’s Narita, Haneda and Kansai airports with airports in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai and Taipei via Naha Airport.
