American airlines are the worst in the world for service - so by putting 2 bad airlines together, you simply get one enormous great big bad airline instead.
Unless there's a complete change in service culture I will NEVER choose an American airline to fly with.

Gotta love how the headline screams panic-inducing 'might, could, may' trash. This type of journalism isn't news, it's opinion with the purpose of getting people to fear something. Kinda sounds like the whole global warming scam..

Gyudon: Global warming is sadly no less inevitable than crowded aircraft - ironically, one is the cause of the other. The difference is that not enough people - including you - take it seriously enough

The global climate changes in cycles, and there is absolutely no evidence that CO2 emissions from planes or anything cause warming. All the furor is over a bunch of flawed computer modeling that is laughable at best. It's all a hoax made to take freedom from people and raise taxes.

The only good part about this news article is that there may be fewer/less flights by Northwurst/Dolt-a........

US airline service generally bites but it isn't the worst in the world. For example, Midwest Express is quite good, perhaps able to maintain quality as they are relatively small. I've flown around Africa and most local airlines there are extremely craptacular.

Gyudon - do you also think that declining oil production is a hoax? presumably not
