Asahi Kasei completes construction of Kawasaki Innovation Center

KANAGAWA —

Asahi Kasei Chemicals has completed the construction of its Kawasaki Innovation Center, a new integrated R&D facility that will bring together several R&D organizations for monomers and performance chemicals in a single shared facility to enable greater interaction among researchers in diverse fields.

Located at the company’s Kawasaki Works in Kanagawa, the Innovation Center will commence operations on on Dec 17.

Asahi Kasei said it will leverage this new R&D center to integrate and advance high-level technology to support the further expansion of its businesses and accelerate the creation of new businesses.
