To the Chinese, the Dragon is born in the most desirable year, so that can only mean more success in 2012.

Most people look up to the Dragon, a noble animal symbol that represents the Chinese emperors. Sarkozy must have studied a bit of Chinese culture.

The Euro had plunged below the 100 yen mark and is going the same way as the US dollar, down the drain.

The market has been going up and down by 4%. What it tells me is that investors are trading by FEAR. Unless Euro mess which takes longer to heal than what people anticipate, the trend would continue. As far as speaking Asia, it is not including Japan. Japan's GDP has been sluggish than anticipated. Japan needs to take an advantage of the strong yen and needs to investing in domestic consumer spending for growth, not driven by export. Also Japan needs to continue investing in M&A, natural resources, R&D in Japanese currency base.

This is an once in a life time opportunity for Japan. The success depends on how you play it right IMHO. You can do it, Japan. Gambare.
