Will the BOJ in the currency market? JPY still way too strong and still getting stronger. While other economies sucks, the yen is overvalued.

But didn't the Finance Minister just say that the economy is well on the way to recovery? Fact is, it is only July, and the fiscal year runs through next March. This will undoubtably be lowered again as the impact of the continued power cut-backs lingers on into at least the fall. When all is said and done, Japan is likely to show a decline for this fiscal year.

    Utrack

But it said in a statement it expects the economy to achieve moderate growth in the second half of the current fiscal year ending March 2012.

This is true if you don't count the Nuclear Disaster going on and the Bill for the next some odd years. Japan Govt needs to print and allocate vast sums of Yen if they want to look and do something about the ramafications of allowing NPP to operate past the expiration time of 20 odd years, for the electric companies to decommission old reactors for New Tech, their going to ask for YEN. to compensate the public afflicted by this disaster costs YEN. lets not go into the longterm environmental and health effects which cost YEN. Reconstruction after the tsunami costs YEN.

Fantasy Coma Living states it expects the economy to achieve moderate growth etc. while the country and it's population is being poisoned by a Bio-Hazardous environment. By all means live the Fantasy.

The YEN is way over value..............needs to change NOW to help all us importers of Japanese goods.
