You can only move companies to China, where people work for slave labor prices, for so long. Eventually things like this will come back and bite Japan in the bum.

Bridgestone China probably doing more to cover for AUS/NZ market. China and Japan alliance will go bigger and bigger until,China and rest of world get saturated.
Other nations outside China, now need to manufacture/produce exports for China, things China is weak in producing.
Things like food and niche market high quality non-china quality products/services.
Keep the trillions circulating both ways and in every way possible.

You never know indeed before you know. Bridgestone, the largest tyre manufacturer in the world, still has plants in about 30 other countries, quite a few of which are developing, which make them competitive for quite some time to come.

Sorry. Only 24 countries. Soon to be 22.
The Australian wage prices and value of the dollar is driving them away in search of even larger profits. The demand for their product has increased signifigantly. As has their greed.

Good timing. I am in the market for some new tyres, so will scratch Bridgestone et al. from the list.

SebastianFlyte, they're the ONLY tire manufacturer in Australia. Who's left in your list?
