    You don't need to build a world, it is already there, just join the list of third world countries or developing countries.

    My advice to you, shiuu: think before you write. Whatever the absolute level of education, it's always the relatively weakest who will get fired during a downturn. As an individual, you can try not to be among them. For society as a whole, that doesn't change anything - the amount of workers who get fired remains the same.

    Regarding the safety net, I just wonder whether Keidanren is willing to support a corporate tax increase in order to finance their proposal...?
