The use of peasant expelled land in an economic zones and the exploitation of cheap, unprotected labour: the best of capitalism at work here.

I'm half in agreement with you. But the other side of this is that by bringing plants like this into poor countries, they inject a lot of money into the local economy, and over time this money can be used to increase the overall standard of living within the country. Look at Thailand for example, their economy has been booming over the past few years, and unemployment is around 1%. A lot of this has to do with many companies creating factories and plants in Thailand, bringing a lot of money into the economy.

Suzuki will create jobs there. Cheap labor is better than no job. Some people used to blame corporations use cheap labor in China . Then a few years later, Chinese people were buying cars and driving cars. Myanmar will be like that. Myanmar people will be driving Suzuki providing road situation improving. They get jobs are better than no jobs.

A Happy Easter !
