Good thing that China has no rivals, so far trade (merchandise) is concerned and if China faces any economic troubles that will create global crisis.

I expect this will result in less visitors flaunting cash in the coming six months.
All the Chinese tourist I have run into have been humble, polite and quiet. Japanese Obaaachan much louder. Neeeeeeeeeeee!

It's all economic cycles; nothing grows forever

China is the manufacturing center of the world. When trade falls 6.9% for 6 months, this year, how can its GDP be +7%. Unless domestic investments and domestic consumption is very strong, which are both not sustainable and not true now. The property bubble is bursting, the debts bubble has exploded and now the stock market bubble is just burst. 7% GDP target for 2015 sounds crazy, if it indeed is real.
