Get ready for change forever America . We knew this bad economic luck would come. The heart of this matter is forgiveness and going beyond rage. Work ouput knowhow,the more we learn,the less we know.

Now is time to unite,stand up again with power to fight with the future on our mind.

Stop carrying that anger that eats you up inside, heart of cure,is forgiveness.

Chrysler said its January fleet sales dropped 81% from year-ago levels. GM said its fleet sales fell 80% to just over 13,000 vehicles in January, marking their lowest sales level since 1975. GM’s retail sales fell 38 percent.

Dearborn-based Ford said January’s drop in sales of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles included a 65% decline in fleet sales, but Ford’s retail sales, which dropped 27% from a year ago, stabilized over the last three months.

Wow, that is unbelievable. If this continues to the point of disaster, give me a call. I would think a solution is available, although not the mainstream type.

Although Toyota is facing a downturn, I was able to get them to think about the Prius.

For the Big Three, just adjusting market energies towards the Asia- Pacific markets may be fruitful, though not now. Sorta like, think strategically, rather than tactically (maximizing profits). Better get really smart guys (m/f) in there. Should I have said, "gals"?

Perhaps the low sales is also a nature of how much better cars/trucks are made. 40 years ago you had to buy one every 2/3 years. 20 years ago one had to buy one every 5/7 years and now it is closer to 10 years. Why buy a new car when the old one is working just fine. The days of buying a new car/truck for styling changes is past. The auto industry will have to survive without large growth as will we all. The insane days of 10 to 15 percent growth are past!

If only that were true. Nope, the lack of car sales is pretty much down to everyone being potless. When the banks start to release money again the market will improve, especially fleet sales. By then the automakers will hopefully be leaner and smarter.
