"More "unseasonable" weather ? What does that make it now ? About 10 years of "unpredicatable" weather by the nations business leaders ?
Funny "W" I was thinking the same thing. Japanese corporate leaders are in a serious rut, "blame the weather for poor sales", "blame subprime for all the nations banking ills", and "blame everything else on high oil prices !" Odd, I saw today where the economy in the US continues to grow ! Despite subprime, high oil prices, and throw in a 7 year war in Iraq ! What exactly is Japan doing wrong ? I think you hit it here
"When will these simpletons face the hard truth ? The economy in Japan is all but fizzled out !"
That pretty much sums it up, a nation in denial ! They have proven time and time again an unwillingness to open it's markets to free and undisturbed competition. So here's what you get- high prices, low sales ! Can't really feel sorry for them now can we, they brought this mess on themselves, and I see no change ! Anyone else see the convenience store figures out today ? Yep-down !

Japan corporate leaders need to get out of the serious rut in japan corporation/japan ways.
Agree with thepossum. Free undisturbed competitions, more free undisturbed creativity in product ideas, not expensive prices and other dynamic revolution new ideas, is what is needed in japan to liven up things/sale at department stores.
