I guess extracts ain't too bad as long as the actual meat and flavorings ain't used.

What's with this stamina obsession? Almost anything in Japan is marketed to boost stamina. Stamina ramen. Stamina don. Stamina setto. I ate eel the other day and fell asleep after an hour.

I'm waiting for the Stamina Steak-Natto Drink! Boost your power! (Extract of dead cow flavored just like steak and rotten beans. With vitamins!)

If this product is from the same company that sold Chinese frozen Gyoza, i would avoid buying their food/drink products.

yuck! There are some things Japanese that I just won't try. But given karoshi is there any reason why people want stamina?

I'm usually open to the quirks of national cuisines but this is a little weird to me. Actually, more than a little weird...

Yeeeuck! I often pass by the local grilled eel shop with its extractor fan belching out the smoke from the bar-b-q rack. The sign on the building shows three big eels emerging from an old style fishing basket. Gawd, they always remind me of giant black sperms! Yeeeuck!
