Ford is an acronym for any of the following: -
Found On Rubbish Dump Fix Or Repair Daily F***** On Race Day
With so many rubbish local cars churned out, why would anyone drive a Ford in Japan?

Dear Ford,
The answer is simple. Make cars that appeal to Japanese drivers.

Out of all the American cars, FORD has clearly made the most progress so we should give them a little credit. They did say that a hybrid maybe along the way. When is the last time you test drove or ridden in a FORD? And when you buy a FORD, you get great service at reduced prices.

Once a car maker has acquired a poor reputation it tends to linger for decades. Back in the sixties my colleagues and I used to work for a Ford dealer and complain about the shoddy way the vehicles were put together.
What's the point of that combination? Maybe you'll be the only buyer.

The only cars that appeal to Japanese drivers are Japanese.
