Fujitsu has announced plans to hire 500 university graduates in April 2014. Although the number of new hires will decrease compared to this year due to the severe business environment, Fujitsu said it will continue to recruit a diverse group of university graduates to enhance its global business for positions in R&D, system engineering, sales, administration and other divisions throughout the company to sustain growth in its ICT solutions, services, and products businesses.
Fujitsu's "Challenge & Innovation Recruitment" campaign, started in 2010, aims to recruit university graduates who made significant achievements during their university days. The company will also continue "Recruitment by Job Family" for non-technical graduates to respect their wide-ranging career aspirations. In addition, Fujitsu will invite applications from those who graduated university in previous fiscal years.

I think they would also be suited to hire some people who did not go to University and wear the monkey suits. There is a great many talented kids who can create things like communications campaigns, innovative product ideas, applications of marketing and social media platforms, promotional video contests.. that they can make at home on their computers... and give out a few jobs that ways as well.. one thing they do not teach at University is creativity, individuality, entrepreneurship or courage to be not part of the "group".

So here we have it, lets change the title to "Fujitsu to hire less graduates in 2014", add some information of the plight of young people in corporations burdened by excessive pensions (that reduce the number of well paying jobs), and how this has been a trend that is increasing rather than decreasing in rate. I smell Pulitzer.

Actually, Basroil, the REAL news would be how many of the new-hires are newly-created jobs rather than replacements for retirees.

At the current state, anything is news compared to this stub, but yes, that is a good question. As a followup though, you need to ask how many of those will earn less than last year's group, and how much less.
