I will never buy an EV-car unless the batteries are with 10-year guarantee.
By looking at how the lithium battery for my electric assist bicycle fails in about a year to a year and a half, I wouldn't trust any battery bigger than that.
Can anyone state or prove otherwise?

Toyota Prius and Honda Insight batteries seem to last longer than a year.
