It's going to be a rough summer. My nephew has already lost his job and I'm sure it's going to get a lot worse. Plus the analysts are saying that the bondholders will probably not agree to the debt-for-equity swap because it gives them only 10% controlling interest while the UAW gets close to 40% with the swap of equity for pension funding. If you've got a Trans Am expect values to go up....

Even if they don't go into bankruptcy they will essentially be a nationalized company. It didn't work for British Leland and it won't work for GM.

It didnt work for British Leyland for precisely the same reason too. Too much union power.
