    Stopgap measure at best. JAL is hemorrhaging money at record-setting rates. It should cut all international routes but Honolulu, JFK-NYC, LA, Taipei and Hong Kong, which run mostly full. Leave the rest to ANA, which knows how to make money by doing a better job of keeping out retired bureaucrats.
