    Either people are getting poorer, population is declining, people are becoming more more frugal, or more health conscious.

    And yet, as I read here a day or two ago, sales at convenience stores are way up. So I dont think they are becoming more frugal here just lazier. It would appear people are spending more money on food if they are shopping at the convenience store. This doesnt make any sense in hard economic times.
