Honda Motor Co has begun sales of the all-new Grace LX at dealerships across Japan. The gasoline-powered Grace LX is a new addition to the lineup of the all-new Grace, a compact sedan that fuses together easy handling unique to a vehicle in the 5-number size category and a spacious cabin, stately exterior styling and enhanced visual and tactile qualities often found in an upper-middle-class sedan.

The Grace LX is equipped with a 1.5-liter direct injection DOHC i-VTEC engine that features both powerful driving and a high-quality feel. Combining this engine with a CVT (continuously variable transmission), Grace LX realizes outstanding fuel economy for a gasoline engine of 21.8km/liter.

Furthermore, a new color, “Premium Crystal Red Metallic” that combines a clear luster with a deep color tone, was added to the original color lineup for the Grace.

By adding the gasoline-powered Grace LX to the lineup of Grace hybrid types which offer fuel economy of 34.4km/liter, the best fuel economy among all 5-number category sedans available in the market, Honda said it enhanced the Grace lineup to fulfill a broader range of customer needs.
