I think all cars fitted with Takata Air Bags made from Mexico Factories should be recalled and Takata should shut down Mexico Factories until they found the solution and staffs are retrained. Mexico factories were moved from US. There’s no problem with Air Bags when the Air Bags were made in US. I believe Takata didn't thoroughly train staffs when they were employed at Takata's new factory in Mexico. Employees in some shifts may put more chemical substances in canister. Some employees are not following direction exactly because they don't understand how it works or they don't know how important work they are doing. You can’t deny employees from developed country have more intelligent and quality than employees from third world developing country. Takata may save hundreds millions of dollars from moving factory to Mexico from US but in the end the save was gone and the company may collapse from law suits, penalty and recalled. It's another lesson for Japanese Companies.

Where the bags were made is irrelevant to the issue of Takata refusing to agree to a blanket recall of the suspect airbags. Takata is trying to make this a climate-dependent issue when the United States already has confirmed deaths in areas that don't have the climate Takata wants to attribute this to. THIS is why the NHTSA and Congress are so pissed-off at Takata right now. The NHTSA has presented evidence that the problem is present outside of "humid" locales, and Takata is basically saying, "The investigators we're paying don't agree with you, so we're not going to acquiesce to expanding the recall."
