I wish this article was out when people were talking about how the US only has gas guzzling cars lol. I think america has more eco friendly cars on the road than most countries. maybe. I haven't seen an electric or Ngas car in JP since i have been here.
But congrats to honda, dont really like the design of the car though. Maybe if it was a different color.

Al Stewart, where are you living in Japan? Taxis everywhere run on natural gas and the infrastructure has been here for at least twenty or thirty years. Fully electric cars are admittedly not so common yet, but you would not probably notice one anyway. Ever seen a Nissan Leaf?
Hybrids are so common now that if you are waiting at the lights three out of ten cars will be some kind of gas/electric hybrid.
Agreed that the US is no longer swamped in gas-guzzlers! LOL
