Hope Honda will not apply pay cut here in Japan and try to compensate any loss in China !

They are learning fast.

Foreign cos. don't have much time left in their sweat-shop ways. Get ready for the factory floor of the world to awaken and demand fair compensation.

"after agreeing to a 47% pay hike"

I'd agree to that.

Seriously, what if everyone who works got a 47% pay hike? Wouldn't that be disastrous for the world economy?

"The communist government normally prohibits protests"

Doesn't that trample on the people's freedom?

It won't be long before all these foreign enterprises in China go bust as the era of a low wage country comes to an end and the Japanese companies return to home base where they belong.

Communism - the workers united - but no strikes please.

Smashing the proletariat - while protecting the profits of the new middle class.

A mixed Chinese economy now understanding that with high growth comes the request for better living conditions. These requests must be met in order to protect profits - very unCommunist.

Interesting times.
