Why do almost all these articles contain a phrase like "nosediving sales in America" ? Hasn't the market in the USA been pretty much saturated for years ? I say focus more on the Japanese market. Folks here have affected the global economy by a poor reaction to the bursting bubble economy of the 1990's, continued mismanagement of Japanese banks, Japans national debt, and the real kicker- Japan's inability to jump start domestic spending through imports. Thanx a heap Nippon !

Maybe but the local Honda dealer is still demanding a "market adjustment" (extra money above price) and getting it! It is sad to see Honda release employees, perhaps things will change. Honda has a much better selection of autos over the American "big three". They will adjust to the change.......

There is oversupply of cars in UK,Japan, that is why there is job cuts.
May be they need to focus of more sales in underdeveloped nations instead saturated with cars markets in developed world.
Help the underdeveloped nations develop more jobs,Honda,so that they can buy more cars/motorcycles.
