Kudos to Honda UK though, stuck full square behind their staff throughout the recession, UK business indicators show Honda has a positive attitude, patience, and demonstrates a genuine concern for their employees, exceptional workplace environment too, also received 5 industry stars for equal employment opportunities.

I do think, though, this is only a temporary phase. The Swindon plant will likely soon switch to the third-generation Honda Jazz (e.g., the third-generation Honda Fit that went on sale in Japan last September and will start sales in the USA in April 2014) and may be the primary plant to build the much-anticipated next-generation Civic Type-R hatchback (which was shown in near-final "concept" form at the Geneva Auto Show in early March 2014).

Honda will built the new Civic Tourer wagon along with the CR-V and Jazz in Swindon. The new Civic Tourer will have choice of two engines: the new fuel efficient 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine and the 1.8 i-VTEC gasoline engine.
