Great, two companies that overcharge for luggage, wonderful !!!! The check in staff was really annoying at narita and chicago. Two great companies that I don't like using. Great !!!! American Airlines over charged me for a over weight luggage. The check in staff was very rude and a bunch of walking idiots. My advice for people using american airlines always challenge them. Ask if they calibrated the sweight scale. Ask for them to provide documents that it was properly tested/ or when was the last time it was properly calibrated. I paid over 1000 dollars for my ticket. So I always fight with these idiots. Don't give up the fight like Bob Marley says.

With this courting of everybody, it could be an indication that JAL is seriously on the ropes. Too much of this sort of thing and the vultures will start circling around JAL based on the assumption that all is not well.

With these almost daily reports of whom JAL must be talking to, they seem to have contacted every airline, in their desperate search for cash and a gullible partner.

Wonder if any of these potential partners would conduct a due diligence survey on JAL?

They are definitely circling the drain...

Time has come to learn from Asinas not with American airlines.Even one Kg. of over weight had charged me.You see fatty Amercina or other passanger are not charge in doulbe price.This is not right justice for other minium height and slim passngers. Food is very bad in Jal and American Airlines.Learn from Singapore Airlines.Otherwise Jal will be sunset if negelcts Asians.

If they allow American stewardess to work on the JAL flights, then the only thing going for JAL, will be gone. Cute gals.

American Airlines was rated the worst US airline in 2008 (http://bit.ly/pv0NL). I strongly recommend that passengers choose airlines other than American Airlines and JAL should this merger actually happen.

Last time I had the unfortunate experience of flying with American Airlines, I had many items stolen from my checked bags and AA refused to take any responsibility for my losses, and this appears to be a common problem with many AA passengers. (http://bit.ly/xO5IV)
