Dismal data report under bright headline.

Good for them but I will tell you that I am never buying a Japanese car again. I simply do not trust the word of the Japanese government or any Japanese corporations with regard to radioactive contamination. Yes, I know how it looks but we have clearly seen in many instances that they value business over human life. They will not let something as pesky as radioactive contamination of their cars/parts impact sales. I say, let them eat their lies and now suffer the consequence.
Why should ANY of us risk our health based on their lies. Let them drown in their lies and mistakes. All of them. Japan will rebuild a new after having dealt with the ruling elite that have nearly destroyed their nation.

You probably shouldn't buy a Japanese TV or Japanese camera or Japanese stereo too then - lots of components are made in the Northern region of Japan. Just to be on the safe side, it might be best to just boycott Japanese products altogether.
I wish you the best of luck with brands from other countries.

Despite your sarcasm you are correct. I will go with either European, Chinese or Korean electronics. I am done with Japanese products period, forever.

@ ssway Yes the last quip about boycotting everything Japanese was in jest.. but if you are worried about radiation I'm serious about the other electronics. It's not just car manufacturing that has been affected by the disaster... some major electronics companies such as Canon have only just started getting back to normal too.
