They'll never stop, sadly. Actually, this recession is a good news for the US, despite what this article would suggest.

I recall several US officials about a year ago indicating support for the hike in the consumption tax, which is what created this recession.

So either they're hypocrites or they dont have a clue about fiscal policy, in which case they shouldnt make any comments.
