Myanmar has many undeveloped land mass and unexplored natural gas. However unlike Britain and France, northern part of Myanmar is land locked. Only southern part of Myanmar has sea route for maritime trading. In the fairy tale, J co-operation manufacture goods and export to populous neighboring nations will make the good fortune. Reality is every nation has never fully opened their domestic markets. They will protect their domestic market for the local manufacturers. If huge markets like China or India collect the high tariff to Myanmar export, Japanese goods will be less competitive.
Bangladesh purchasing power is still very low due to poverty. Thailand is stronger. However Thai market is not large like China or India. Myanmar is strategically located between two giants. However most of the trade between Myanmar and those nations are still primary resources. It will take some time and more competitiveness for Made in Myanmar with Japanese design will get world wide market share.
