TOKYO —
The farm ministry said Wednesday it has suspended imports of poultry products from France, where avian influenza has broken out on a duck farm.
The suspension, which includes imports of foie gras, 60 percent of which are imported into Japan from France, will last at least 90 days, according to the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry.
