It's kinda sad to see the likes of Honda, Panasonic etc. reporting huge losses, while a tobacco company is recording healthy profits..

That's when the economy "goes up in smoke!"

Incredible news. I seem to think so few smokers give a rat's ass about kicking the habit even though the price has gone up. I enjoy going for a beer and some yakitori quite often but nothing seems to have changed with all the smokers still lighting up and blowing their smoke into my lungs and smelling me up so I stink like a dirty ashtray. There isn't much anyone can do except give up going to those places. It's too bad there are so few if any non smoking yakitorias. If only they would as the smokers to step outside around a standing ashtray but that would be too easy.

Great...lets tax tobacco some more then and decrease the other planned taxes since demand is obviously inflexible..

Don't a lot of JT profits come from drinks and the like?
