    I wonder if the US officials realize that business is actually tough for US refiners. Oil prices have been rising faster than gasoline prices, and gasoline demand is down, putting a squeeze on refiners profits.

    Didn't the oil companies in the US buy up all the independent refineries and then close them down to raise profits?
