Toyota Motor Corp, the world’s biggest car manufacturer, said Friday it made 591,109 passenger cars, trucks and buses during the month, up 61.5% from a year earlier.

Automakers should invest more on cost-saving greencar productions, particularly for regional consumption. All the best!

Keep buying Asia!! And save us...

Japan's exports jumped 40 percent in April, rising for a fifth straight month, fueled by brisk overseas demand for cars and high-tech goods in a fresh sign that the global economy is recovering.

Led by shipments of cars and semiconductors, exports rose to 5.9 trillion yen ($65 billion), the Ministry of Finance said Thursday. Automobile exports more than doubled from a year earlier, while semiconductor shipments rose 35.5 percent.

Yeah, let poor Asians buy crappy Toyota hybrids, as for me, you could not get me to drive one even for FREE! Enough is enough, Toyota should be ashamed of all the deaths selling bad cars in the USA etc...
