I thought all this exotic outsourcing was to spread risk in the supply chain. Instead it's made it more vulnerable. Nowadays, whenever there's a storm somewhere in the world, manufacturers lose massive amounts of money. This hardly ever happened pre-globalization, and the local people could keep their jobs, too.
Keep your assets safe at home, is what I say.

In life, NOTHING is for sure, you can try and try, but hey you get quakes and tsunamis in Japan, then you get floods in Thailand, just ROLL with the FLOW, we all have to be strong and move on. IMHO.
