    Meanwhile, Japanese household spending edged down 0.4% in October from a year earlier, falling for the eighth consecutive month.

    Yeah, keep on taking more and more taxes out of our paychecks and this trend will surely continue. I would surely spend more money if I had it to spend!

    No transparency in Japan.

    Japan has been caught in a web. The tax hike is not a good idea, I agreed, but how would you solve the sovereign debt of Japan? I agree with the IMF that Japan needs to solve this problem first. Otherwise, Japan will become a deficit country in a couple of years. Actually, the GDP growth is the best and painless solution to the debt reduction, but Japan has exhausted all tools.

    4.5 percent. That means they need a 1.6 trillion dollar stimulus package to equal the one we got in America and achieve 9 percent unemployment.

    The jobless rate inside the disaster zone is four or fives times the national rate. Mostly the jobs available there are all min wages.
