Hardly for 'morons,' there are rich people in every society in this world ready to splurge on every extravagance around. No need to be jealous or resentful of other's success and riches. This is a drop in the bucket for millionaires a some14some alludes to. I'd do it if I had the money and won't begrudge others that can. Good for them.

for morons...you could do the same trip and leave JTB out of it, for half...morons

Just because there are rich Japanese doesnt mean their intelligent. Hell just look at all the scams in the last few months and you will know most are rich from defrauding people. They would need someone like JTD to defraud them.

Actually, I have to agree with rjd jr on this one. I certainly wouldn't like to set up a trip like this one by myself. I want to enjoy my trip, not spend my life arranging it to save a few dollars/yen/pesos etc. I'd love to go on such a trip and absolutely indulge myself (which I think is the whole point of this package trip). And if I were that rich why would I be worried about the money? At any rate, would be a good way to spread my wealth around and provide a few jobs.

Oh wow! I think that's awsome. Good luck to the winning couple I say!

Betting, actually, if you had the money for this kind of trip you wouldn't set up a trip like this by yourself. Your travel agent would. And your agent would probably know how to rent a private jet for the European leg. I'm thinking of David Letterman who hasn't set foot in a commercial jet for a couple of decades but has gone back to Indiana to visit mom more than once or twice.

is this a prize for someone, or advertising a tour?

  • unscrejects at 03:34 PM JST - 7th May

The jet will be a Tupolov 154.
