Between violent tendencies and poor infrastructure, you would have assumed that Japanese companies have learned better than to make factories in third world countries. It's far cheaper to build them here in Japan and in US/Europe, even with the higher labor costs.

What happened in India is really unfortunate, but it is not an excuse to make such comments for third world countries. If we go by your assumption than there are no strikes, in developed countries? Maruti has been in India for more than 2 decades and has monopoly in Indian auto market. They will be able to get through this state sooner than later.

It's just stupid that these workers, being employed and earning wages thanks to these companies, try to take the law into their own hands in guise of a mob, and risk their entire livelihood. RIP to the dead guy and hope these workers get their due
