    • Seeing the sales of McDonalds rise in Japan is a black eye for a culture that prides itself in its ethnic foods. Could the food scandals be effecting this result?

Mcdonalds is getting rich from making people ill with their fatty food and chemicals. Japanese will start turning into fatties, mark my words.

Mark McCracken - It's probably a literal translation of the Japanese "gaishoku sangyou" 外食産業, which is what the Japanese call the restaurant industry.

the meat doesn't taste like meat, the fish doesn't taste like fish, the potato doesn't taste like potato, the bread doesn't taste anything remotely like bread, on e of the great mysteries of modern times, this "restaurant". still i guess it's a great match for the japanese palate with their preference for extremely sweet and salty processed food.

Mcdonald's provide food, we need more competitions from other companies to beat Mcdonald. Still no one can.

They are just ahead of competition in many subtle ways, you never find in competitors.

The amount of training they do in Mcdonald's is enough to beat competition. 500 billion yen in sales speak for Mcdonald's, when it comes to beating competition.
