The American people should remain confident in the “soundness and resilience in the American financial system,” Paulson told reporters at the White House.

Yeah, right. Little by little, Americans are losing their confidence in the economy. Whatever happened to the economic stimulus package that Bush handed out? Hasn't done much good if you ask me. This is only the tip of the iceberg, as more investment banks will find themselves fighting to stay afloat.

Wall Street? I think not; more like "Fall Street" to me.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN I have finacial advise for you. Take all your money out bank account and hide it under your pillow. Because more banks will topple over like a stack of dominoes. Pretty soon people will stand in line for bread and water.

memyselfi: I hope you are saying that tongue in cheek. I think a lot of people will hurt but as in every case before the economy will rebound. Just relax if you have money in an American bank, less than $100,000 the government insures you.
