Mystery woman to be revealed in Gusto's campaign special

Mystery woman to be revealed in Gusto's campaign special

TOKYO —

Family restaurant chain Gusto, operated by the Skylark Group, is celebrating the overwhelming popularity of its “Cheese in Hamburg” product with a special campaign to begin at midnight on Feb 17.

The “Cheese in Hamburg” item (628 yen) has been on sale for just a year but will soon clear 10 million items sold. In the meantime, a beautiful mystery woman has been put up on a special website for viewers to speculate on her identity (http://cheesein.jp/)

The mystery woman turns slightly in what may be enough of a hint as to who she is. She will turn around fully on Feb 17 when the details of the campaign will also be revealed.

I'm sure we will all be hitting F5 repeatedly on this site until we know! Seriously, who do they think cares?

Gusto had the best famiresu hamburger on the market until they dropped it from their menu last year. Haven't been back and cheese filled meatloaf wannabe doesn't hold much appeal for me because their meat is not all that good-too many fillers- kinda spongy-guess the jfolk like it that way... I think of the famiresu here in Kansai that Joyfull has the tastiest hamburger steak these days. Still lamenting over the passing of Wendy's and wondering when we will be lucky enough to get a Burger King or Taco Bell down here ; )

I'm just wondering how you can call someone beautiful if you have no idea what they look like ..... ok there is a very good chance she is, but I like to think about the small things.

I am in Kansai and remember the good old days in the 1990s when Dennys had some decent grub I have seen some of those Joyfull places about, but i havent eaten their yet. I also am sad about Wendys going and wish there were more varity than Mcds. The only fast food in a 20 mile radius of me is Mcd`s and it gets boring after a while.

Gusto seems to have done a Dennys and is replacing western foods with western?japanese foods to suit "local tastes". I think Gusto is ok for something cheap once in a while, and the food aint too bad, but their menu needs improvement and more variety.

Hakujinsensei, I've also boycotted Gusto ever since they got rid of the hamburger/fries off the menu...Wasn't too happy about them dropping that since it was a pretty popular item- Maybe they wanted less high school students plaguing their outlets, who knows.

Oh, on second thought, it could be the Girl in Ringu! With hairs fully grown and covering all her face. So if you dont eat from Gusto everyday, she is going to get you! :-))

caffeinebuzz... The hamburger/fries is seasonal; they get rid of it at the end of every winter! I feel for you too... it's called the King Burger! Awesome burger... best in Japan I think.

PS - I doubt I know who the girl is (or care.) Why do this?

Saizeria is much better, food and prices, than what the likes of Royal Host and Gusto offer.

"The “Cheese in Hamburg” item (628 yen) has been on sale for just a year"

Tell me this item, at this price, is a set meal- complete with beverage ! If not- Whoa ! That's expensive, especially for a bottom rung chain like Gusto ! I would agree with the poster above "Saizeria" is much better, food and prices.

saizeria had the toxic chinese cheese scandal.Royal host is a rip off.The gusto king burger is good but twice recently the meat quality seems to have been soso-like they lowered th quality in return
