Nissan Motor Co Ltd plans to release the Infiniti Q60, a new sports coupe equipped with the newly-developed VR Engine, in the middle of 2016.

The new engine is VR 30 Type, a V-6 twin-turbo engine with a displacement of 3.0L. It comes in two models (with different maximum outputs).

The Q60 is equipped with a higher-performance model whose maximum output and maximum torque are 294kW and 475N·m, respectively. Also, it has a seven-speed AT (automatic transmission). There are FR (front-engine, rear-wheel-drive) and 4WD (four-wheel-drive) versions of the vehicle.

Furthermore, the Q60 is scheduled to be mounted with a 2.0L in-line four-cylinder turbo engine that was co-developed by Nissan and Daimler AG.
