Guess we know that the results will be even worse than projected. The Japan Inc. "leadership" model is being shown to be the out-dated/in-flexible model that it is. Totally unsuited for the 21st century/global economy.

So, is Abe ready to accept his strategies for increasing exports is based on markets that no longer exist? Or, is he gonna keep fiddling while Japan burns? The basis of his economic plan is to return japan its former strength through exports into markets that no longer exist. The recent tax hike and drop in spending will only result in price hikes across the board further damaging Japanese exports cos products can be sourced cheaper from other countries. The electronics and car industries of Japan are no longer the backbone of the country and Abe's reliance on them will eventually kill the economy.
