Obama's panel members have no automotive experience and very little manufacturing experience. This should be even more amusing than watching the performance of the Big 3 auto executives over the last 10 years.

There's one here, Sarge - why'd you ask?

Wottock - Because there weren't any President Obama-supporting posts as of 10:44 PM?

He's looking into ways to save the US car industry, and the tens of thousands of jobs involved in it. Surely that's a good thing?
Wait until a decision's reached and then you can pick holes and hope it fails, in the manner of the great patriot junkie Limbaugh.

He's looking into ways to save the United Auto Workers Union, which votes Democrat, not the auto industry. If he was looking into ways to save the auto industry, he'd cut taxes and encourage the auto makers to build cars that people want to buy, not force them to build cars that people don't want to buy.

Isn't having all those union members in work, paying taxes for a surviving industry a better option than having them all out of work, producing nothing and unable to buy anything?
