And yet the price of gasoline in Japan keeps going up, even though oil is low and the dollar is strong! Go figure.

The big problem here is Iran--they don't want to limit exports given oil is a huge revenue source for the country.
However, the price of oil may go up again--there are now fears that Venezuela and Nigeria could stop exporting oil due to the political and economic instability of both countries--over 5 million barrels a day of production threatened.

I see oil go down 3-4% at times yet never a drop in the price of gasoline! Also,getting an oil change here always seems to be the same price....strange!
